Growing up south of Richmond, Virginia, Anne pursued her academic interests at the University of Virginia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in both Philosophy and Politics in 2020. Her legal journey began at the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office in Prince George, Virginia, but her ambition led her to Texas, where she enrolled in Texas Tech University School of Law. There, she not only rekindled her love for the Lone Star State but also deepened her passion for criminal defense and advocacy.
Throughout her time in law school, Anne meticulously developed her skills in constitutional and criminal law, achieving top honors in various courses. Her practical experience includes representing actual defendants in the Caprock Regional Defender Clinic, where she engaged in meaningful advocacy on both felony and misdemeanor levels. Additionally, she distinguished herself as Best Advocate at the National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition, showcasing her dedication to excellence.
At Hurley, Guinn, Singh & VonGonten, Anne has been instrumental in a diverse array of cases, encompassing manslaughter, drug offenses, sex crimes, and white-collar crimes. She considers herself fortunate to have gained invaluable experiences at Hurley, Guinn, Singh & VonGonten, Texas Tech, and the University of Virginia, and is eager to employ her knowledge and experience to guide her clients through their legal challenges with skill and compassion.
